God's Precious Gift of Motherhood

One of the most rewarding gifts in my life is being a mother. The maternal bond between a mother and a child starts the day of conception. The moment I held my son for the first time was the moment I understood what dumbfounding love felt like. It’s a feeling that is unexplainable.As a parent, it seems that you have to sacrifice a lot for your children, but when I think about the ultimate sacrifice when God sent his beloved son to earth as a sacrifice for us all, my daily sacrifice becomes a reward. Not just as a mother, but a reward to our children. Jesus paid the ultimate price for us all. In honor of the miracle of motherhood, lets aspire to be Godly examples to our children. Produce good fruit by the fruit of the spirit within each of us. Cultivate and nurture through love, compassion, joy, peace, wisdom, guidance, and gentleness. I know we are not perfect but we must continue to seek God’s face and he will direct our path. He gives us his strength, his wisdom, and his promise. Praise God for Godly Mother’s! Be the mom God designed you to be.
